Using Universal Voice Commands on HMT-1
You can navigate and interact with your Hippo HMT-1 using your voice. Voice commands display as text in all caps. The following are global commands that work across all applications.
Navigate home will return you to the device home screen.
Navigate back will take you to the previous screen.
My programs navigate you to your programs folder, where you can launch Hippo Virtual Care.
My controls display the controls panel.
Show help will provide information on the commands associated with that particular screen.
Select item (desired item number) will select an item that is on screen. Please see below for more details.
There is a small learning curve with this command, but it is very helpful in navigating HVC. At any point, a user has the ability to say “SELECT ITEM” followed immediately by the desired item number to select an item on the screen. This is helpful when there are no written commands that follow our “Say What You See” technology, or when those written commands fail to respond.
These numbers in circles, called “indicators” will disappear after a few seconds. To make them reappear, one simply needs to interact with any voice command. An easy way to do this is to say “SHOW HELP” then “HIDE HELP”. This will cause the indicators to reappear, then you can say “SELECT ITEM” followed immediately by the desired item number to select an item on the screen.
