Open item (desired item number) will select an item that is on screen. Please see below for more details.

There is a small learning curve with this command, but it is very helpful in navigating HVC. At any point, a user has the ability to say “OPEN ITEM” followed immediately by the desired item number to select an item on the screen. This is helpful when there are no written commands that follow our “Say What You See” technology, or when those written commands fail to respond.

These numbers in circles, called “indicators” will disappear after a few seconds. To make them reappear, one simply needs to interact with any voice command. An easy way to do this is to say “SCROLL DOWN” then “SCROLL UP”. This will cause the indicators to reappear, then you can say “OPEN ITEM” followed immediately by the desired item number to select an item on the screen.
