Rapid Connect - Entering codes on Web

Rapid Connect allows you to easily bring devices into a meeting, without requiring a user login.

There are two locations within the web portal where you can enter Rapid Connect numerical codes: event creation and participants menu.


Event Creation method

  1. In the Event Creation dialog, ensure "Start Event Now" is checked:
For pre-scheduled events, use the Participants Menu method

. Enter the Rapid Connect numerical code in the participants textbox. Once a recognized RC numerical code is entered, you'll see a popup saying "create".

  1. Press "Enter" on your keyboard or click the "create" popup as pictured above.
  2. Once you see your RC code with an asterisk (*) next to it, you are ready to start your call.
  3. As soon as you click "Start Now", your RC user will be summoned and the call will begin.

Participants Menu method

  1. If you'd like to summon a Rapid Connect device when already in a call, simply open the Participants menu. You may need to reveal the full participants menu with the dropdown arrow, boxed in red below.


  1. Enter the Rapid Connect numerical code in the text box, and press "enter" on your keyboard.
  2. Your RC user will be summoned into the call.
